The 60st SMIIC MC Training within the SMIIC MC Work Plan 2021 – 2023 V3 was the Evaluation of Short Gauge Block Uncertainty (Measurement by mechanical comparison) that took place on the 26 December 2023   virtually, technically hosted by SMIIC General Secretariat. 20 experts participated in the training.

The training was hosted by NMI: Iran National Standards Organization (INSO)

General Description: This training provides an example of a typical evaluation of measurement uncertainty for the case of the calibration of gauge blocks by mechanical comparison

Objective, expected outcome: uncertainty evaluation of a 100 mm gauge block by mechanical comparison

Who should attend: Personnel working in the field of length measurement specially who work with universal length machine or GB comparator
