New SI course was held at the Institute of Standards & Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) in order to promote the redefinition of the New SI for ISIRI experts on the 4th January, 2019.
The training was provided by Khosro Madanipour, NMCI President and Ahad Mohammadi Livari, NMCI Deputy.
In this course, metrology and its applications in life were introduced. National and international structures of metrology and their objectives, the evolution of measurement, the International System of units, the need for changing in the system of units and the ability of implementation based on theoretical foundations at the highest level were also pointed out.
